Having played HLA for nearly 3 years in VR at this point, I'll say that playing it in noVR has been a surprising blast. Even if you don't think HLA should be on flatscreen, I see potential in how this mod can used as a base for people to make their own source 2 experiences using HLA as a base but not necessarily being centered around VR. (like a half-life 2 source 2 remake since the weapons still exist in HLA's code)
