Zara is now out on Desura!
The Dan route is now available on Desura!
It's still being approved by the Desura patching team, but you can grab the Dina standalones on the right hand side of the Desura game page. Using the client right now will only update you to the Lynn route, but in a day or two it'll update to Dina when you click the little refresh button.
Yes, Dina is only in the paid version of the game. Same with Lynn :)
You can grab the Dina Standalone on the main page here, if you own the game the Dina Standalone ZIP should be visible on the right hand side.
Yeah, we're doing well compared to other Daily Royale sales, such as Gravity Badgers, Nascar and Void of Darkness.
Bri can date Ryan, but most of the male romance options appear in the later characters, especially with Dan/Danielle. There was more girl x girl at the start because of how production fell, but it'll even out by the time we release the last character.
Sophie isn't perfect, and her drinking probably will cause one or two incidents down the line, but Bri and Sophie are a strong couple. They'll work through it :)
It's on Greenlight here: Steamcommunity.com
To release on Steam now, you have to go through Greenlight and get a bunch of votes from a huge number of people to be accepted. Right now we're 39% of the way to the top 100, which is pretty good for a niche game, but unless something dramatic happens then it'll be ages before we get through Greenlight, which is pretty normal. It probably won't happen until long after every character is released, unless we get news coverage or a large surge of votes.
That being said, all of our games will be available on Desura, regardless of whether we get on Steam or not. :)
We have it mirrored on youtube too: Youtube.com
Lynn is the newest version, and she was released in November. The next one is Dina, we're working hard to get her released soon :)
Nope, we're still up. We're 37% of the way to being Greenlit :D
I just try to think of all the negative comments as more traffic, and try not to take them personally. And despite all this anger, the game is actually doing really well on Greenlight.
You can't win em all, so I just focus on the positive side of things :)
The graphics look really cool, but I'm not entirely sure you've got a good title (I know, I can't really talk considering my game is called 'Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme'). It looks a bit like Avatar crossed with a cool arena concept. I'd remove Dodge Wars and just call it 'Battle for Mt Olympus' or something.
Good luck, hopefully your game does really well! :)
It should update automatically, but if that fails you can go to the game's profile page and grab one of the standalone downloads on the right hand side.
That's really weird. Which set of choices in particular are you talking about? I didn't add any more to the Bri route when I coded the demo.
If you want to support the game you can always vote for us on Steam Greenlight, and we're about to release the second free character demo. It's unlikely we'll do another sale like this for awhile, but the demo is about 2 hours long so you can still check out the game if you're interested.
Thanks!
Deponia 2 is amazing. Have fun with it!
That's really weird, we had one other person send us a message saying that happened then they messaged us back 5 min later saying it resolved itself. I'm not really sure what to do to fix it as it's a Desura error rather than a game error, but you can always download the standalone release instead.
You should be able to, yeah. Just download the standalone and extract it, and you'll be good to go :)
Just a heads up, I made a stuff up in the code that's causing one of Yael's transformation scenes not to show up. I'm getting to work on getting that fixed, really sorry about that.
We changed the way the game handles the gallery, from one big one to small character specific ones. I'm going to look into a way to keep unlocks across new versions, but right now they will be wiped. Sorry :(
You don't actually have to use the Desura launcher, if you log into your account via the website you can download the standalone files.
But yeah, we'll be sending out Steam Keys to everyone who bought the game, be it via Desura or Indiegogo.
You can adjust the volume in the options menu, click the little wrench to access it or via the buttons on the dialogue bar when you play the game.
There was a problem with the packaging with the Bri Route, but that's been fixed with the Lynn version we submitted, so once that's live any future versions should work without a complex workaround.
Sorry, I'm really new to developing games for Mac. Hopefully this all sorts itself out really soon! :)
It's been submitted for approval, once it gets the all clear it should be available. Not sure when that will be, but from past experience it won't be too long :)
All of the Indiegogo characters and the art archive will be in the Desura version of the game. You won't miss out on anything :)
No, although some of the characters want to get their bodies back a few of them really like it. And as for pairings, the game will have GxG, GxB and some BxB, but in it's current state the game only has GxG and GxB so far.
Lynn will be the next character we add to the game.

But don't worry, Dina will get her turn pretty soon.
