You are most welcome to use any of my files for your mod. Removing the need to separately install and configure the iron sights mod will be most useful to the community. I'm not sure if you have tested my mod but I would class it as inferior to the work that was abandoned by your project (smooth animation iron sights etc.). Anyway, if you do decide you want to use it then I may be able to help with the limited time I might have. The RVS installer would only need to copy the files and ask the user which 2 keys to bind to iron sights and scope toggle (although this may not be neccessary as it can be done manually). Your mod could by default start with my batch file that will manage the autohotkey (which if included in the mod would be ideal).
Have a test of my iron sights and tell me what you think. I should point out that some comprimises had to be made because the weapon models originally not all properly aligned (so rear sight might not properly line up with rear). Enable the crosshairs and see if it is good enough to be used as is or if you need changes. A final issue is that MP is not allowing exec scripts to execute in game so i can't get the irons working in MP using this method. having said that, I think single player is still dominant for this game...
