Hey man, by any chance did you happen to move the file all the way to custom story folder? If so that is probably your problem. I had moved the file into steam-amnesia-customstories-(Said mod). Which returned the error you got. Once I moved the mod folder into the Amnesia folder as its own file and nothing more it worked.

I figured it out woot!
