Run the game from batch file or command prompt with -log appended.

wolfram.exe -log

This will create a log file;
C:\Games\Wolfram\system\Volatile3D II.log

Check the error at the end of the log file.

You can also bind cheats to hotkeys in the config.cfg

Example;

unbindall
bind SPACE "+moveup"
bind 0 "god"
bind 1 "slot1"
bind 2 "weaponluger"
bind 3 "weaponmp40"
bind 4 "weaponmg42"
