Being a huge 1942 fan, I had very high expectations for this mod, and it still blew my mind. The amount of detail that went into the graphics, realistic gameplay, and the units in the game was amazing; the maps were enormous - maybe too big at times but just adding more realism I suppose - while being very detailed with the environment and buildings. This is a great expansion to battlefield, and if you grew up on 1942 you should definitely check this mod out.

Incredible mod. The thing that sticks out the most are the graphics, which are among the best I've seen compared to the other company of heroes mods. The historical accuracy the modders had while making the units for this game such as the german spies dressed in GI clothing and certain elite tank groups for the Nazis as well as realistic gameplay are great examples of the ambitious expansion the modders made to this game. The modders attention to detail in this game in terms of graphics, warfare, and units are incredible, and among the best out there.

This is an incredible mod. It seems like the developers started from the ground up as far as most of the models and recreating maps like Naboo to reflect more what they look like in the movies and the show Clone Wars. That's another thing, this game bring all those heroes and characters into this game. The graphics and gameplay are very well-polished considering that most of the units in this game weren't in the original empire at war games. I strongly recommend to all those a fan of the clone war series, as this mod, again, does a great job of bringing those characters and units to life, and under your command lol. Nice job Z3r0x!!!!

This is literally my favorite mod ever. I feel this mod and Republic at War are up there as far as bringing their timelines of the star wars universe into a real time strategy game, but what I appreciate about this mod more is how well-versed the developers are in the star wars universe and brought to life factions exclusive to the expanded universe (now known as "legacy" universe, damn you Disney) such as the Penstar Alignment and the Empire of the Hand. Granted, Republic at War mod had less of a base to work off of since it's set before the timeline of the original Empire at War games so there was less units and concepts that can cross over as much as this mod but what makes thrawns revenge seem more ambitious to me is that it covers more ground in the events after Endor and includes most, if not all, the characters in that expanded timeline while also having multiple major and minor factions battle each other in galactic conquest. I grew up reading the books such as the thrawn trilogy by timothy zahn, so I guess I'm biased as far as timeline goes. Other than that, great graphics, huge expansion to the GC, and feels completely different from the original game. The only thing I have trouble dealing with from time to time in the mod are the crashes during GC but other than that, like I said before, this is my favorite mod and I strongly recommend it.

Great Mod. The designs on all the units are very detailed while adding amazing content such as maps and new factions. Based on what I hear on Company of Heroes 2, this mod does a better job of bringing the Eastern Front to the Company of Heroes franchise. There's a mode in the skirmish where you can set no pop cap, and in such cases the game may drag a bit since all the factions playing are building so many units but that would be the only shortcoming for this game. This mod expands on the elements of the old games while also bringing some of its original features. Highly recommend.
