Problem Solved - with the new win 8.1 update , came malicious software deleting device , that deletes files included in ram patch for the forces of corruption , a patch required to play the game on windows vista , 7 , 8 and 8.1. you just have to download the ram patch again and install it , then the original game so as the mod is working fine . I also advice to uninstall the last windows 8.1 update , cause it is a pain in the *** ...

Yeah i've done all the stuff that makes things work usually ( running as admin and setting compatibility modes), Actually i found out that not only the mode but the original game crashes also in the same way. I'll try reinstalling it cause maybe my antivirus deleted some of the files after my last scan. also the Windows app for deleting unwanted software did something after the update without my permission( deleted some "unwanted files" yeah right , i'm pretty sure i wanted them XD ) . If I find a solution i'll post it here in case anyone have the same problem in the future . I hate win Updates ... turning it off right now

I have a problem both with open beta and the complete version of the mod . yesterday i played as ancients , the game crashed , it was late so i went to sleep. I have windows 8.1. When i closed the computer , there was a system update , and now, after the update both versions of the mod crash when i click start on the launcher. the mod starts to load and then it crashes. can you help me ? BTW the open beta is great , the effect of drone attack from the city ship is astonishing XD

After they closed SG-1 and Atlantis , this mod is the only thing that keeps Stargate trademark alive , and i just love Stargate. I really appreciate your work and regret that i dont have the skills to help you guys. You have fans all over the world , so keep up the good work. even if you release the full mod 20 years from now , i'll still be waiting for it and so will the rest of the fans !
