Has anyone except OP ever got volumetric textures working? Compiling them seems to work fine, but I cant get them to not show up as black materials in-game.

If you mean things like TrackIR, then no sorry we're 100% VR.

Hydra and even DK2 should technically still end up being supported through SteamVR.

For the record, we no longer plan on making a Hydra-only version, but plan to support Rift Touch and Vive, maybe other VR hardware.

Thanks man, bug reports and feedback are always welcome! :D

Havent encountered that specific problem myself but it sounds like it could be related to the fade out we've added to the level transitions. For now if you cant get past that bit you'll have to use the console to manually load the level.

Hey dude, sorry but the mod currently requires a Rift. Adding a no-Rift mode is on the to-do list, we just havent got to it yet.

Yeah I think your missing the basic point of the mod, which is the make HL2 more compatible with the Oculus Rift and Razer Hydra. Currently we dont even support monitor, mouse and keyboard...

Hi csderr,

Sorry to hear you are having problems, it kind of sounds like you didnt configure the Hydra quite right.

You need to face the same forward direction as your Hydra base, hold the left controller up under your chin, and press the right start button.

Also make sure you do not have MotionCreator or any other Hydra software running in the background.
