thats odd...try downloading and installing the addon again. just make sure to click yes when it prompts you to overwrite the original big files.

yeah Thrax can be a tough one with GLA. you must be quick.
my strategy is to as fast as possible establish my defencive lines along the 3 chocke points: the north bridge (take out the defences there with infantry), the east crossing and just next to the oil derrick west to your base. dont capture the reinforcement pad yet.
2 stingers and 1 tunnel network each. with stealth you must camo everything asap and only leave one barracks in the center of your base uncamoed as bait so Thrax forces run straight into your defences.

next thing to do is build 1-2 scudstorms asap to destroy thrax palace (and scud storm if he already built it) to stop him from using artillery. then hold your defence, build up your forec, capture the reinforcement pad and relocate your western defence to the bridge on the west and go to town.

i know what you mean. however theres a cap on the number of generals. if you want to you could actually replace one of the generals with the vanilla faction to play them.

combining two add ons for a mod of a game is bound to become a clusterfuck. to make it work you'd have to actively combine the added content of one add on into the files of the other add on. that's quite a bit of work.
so i'm not gonna do that, sorry.

sadly this is a hardcoded bug with the cluster missile that sometimes happens and i could not solve even after hours of trying.
We just have to live with it and use other means in Ironsides arsenal to defeat the opponent.

I could also see a variant of this as a more suitable Tomahawk Storm for USA...would you be interested in making that?

i remember somebody else having trouble with the mod and the origin version of the game.
not sure how he fixed it.
maybe try reinstalling the game, then the mod version 1.21 and then the add on and then restart your pc and try launching the mod with its own launcher as usual.

i know its not an easy mission but its not supposed to be.
think about it, at this point the GLA has a strong foothold in Europe and China has to get them out....not an easy feat.
the rebel spawns can be annoying but during my testing i managed to counter them with mining every one of my buildings and with careful positioning of my buildings and defences like gatling turrets and listening turrets inside my base.
the key is to stay offensive. funny enough in the beginning infantry is the way to take out those stinger sites near your base supported with a listening outpost. the scuds and rocket buggies can be a pain and you need a mobile force to counter them quickly. since they take the same paths remember those and use your clustermines there. later in the game you should have access to your strike powers and use those on the statues.
just in case i'll take another look at it.

what version of zero hour are you using?
try reinstalling shockwave 1.21 and then extracting the addon into the zero hour folder, overwriting all files it prompts you to.
then launch the game as usual with the shockwave launcher and that should do it.
the first page of the comments here have an instruction video how to do it.

Hey NukeNoodle (love the name)
It is intentional for his nukes to have a 6 min. cooldown....he is the nuke general after all.
it's all about tactics....where do you build your units, and which do you build first. here's a hint...note when each nuke silo activates and destroy them accordingly with a quickly built strike force of either aircraft or demo busses

balancing is the hardest thing to accomplish in the challenges.
fai should in my mind rely on his infantry so i might give his waves more units, though in the first versions he quickly used too many and easily overrun the player before defences could be established.
destroying thrax palace is a good strategy cause otherwise he will make deadly use of his superweapon and artillery
superweapon is designed to only use her superweapons
currently i'm not able to program deathstrike to load units in his sneak attack
ironside i might make a bit weaker in his attack waves
leang is already tough to handle imo so killing her dozers and command centres is a good strategy.

congrats on beating him...i wonder how you'll fare against Leang

since GLA plays different to the other two it's important to count on each GLA Generals specialization and sneaky stuff like demo traps and tunnel networks.

The Inferno Shell upgrade should be at the Propaganda center, though i'm not 100% that the Infantry general has access to it and only can get it when taking ofer Vanilla China tech in skirmish.

Ironside certainly is a Challenge (pun intended)

the best tactic is to first build a barracks then a reactor and a supply depot and capture the tech buildings asap.
Then you must tech up wisely and bunker down a bit until you survive the first wave of general powers he sends at you (artillery strike, b52 cm strike, daisy cutter and drop units...keep some tanks in your base for that)
then build up a small strike force to take the base to the southwest. the powerplants there also power the defences along the sea line he has
The tech buildings southwest give you another edge. build a suply depot and warfactories there and then take over the small base in the middle to the right.

then you should be able to build up a tank force and use that (mostly overlords and siege cannons) to enter his base to the west and mop up.

he'll continue to send in forces until his cash runs out. for the howitzers its best to use migs or helixes. just remember to pull them back once you destroyed the howitzers or his guardians will make mince meat of them.

thank you for your comment and the tips :) hope this helps others who might be stuck on hard.

your strategies are mostly spot on but will not all work with every general so heres my adittion to yours:
1. you got it! first build up some base defenses at the three entrances to fortify the island you start on...that wil gett you generals points quickly due to his constant attacks. then as fast as possible destroy his Palace with your general powers so he wont have access to rocket buggies and the scud equivalent (forgot the name)
2. its all about surviving his waves of planes with lots of aa defences. capturing the supply depot on the lower right corner right at the start helps a lot. your generals powers are best aimed at the strategy center.
3. his 6 minute countdown definitly is a challenge especially with GLA....however you dont actually need to rely on superweapons that much but its best to use Airforce or in case of GLA Bomb truck to successively destroy each silo...just remember the sequence in which they activate.
4. exactly what you say. if you build a barracks as bait (just place it and then order your worker/dozer to build something else) the demobikes will target that first
5. your strategy is spot on....he's defenitly a challenge and you have to be on your tows.
6. thats right....you basically need to survive his first rush with a lot of missile infantry...best build two barracks at the start to pump them out and then fortify your base. The V1 strikes and his artillery will then be the only things you need to worry about.
7. i hated her too so i tried to make her beatable but challenging.

I adressed this issue multiple times and also wrote about it in the instructions readme:
Once your ingame you have to zoom in and then use the button to reset the camera (default its numpad 5) that will give you access to the entire map.

I have no idea why this happens and tried to fix it with scripts multiple times but the numpad trick is the only one that works.

in skirmish it depends on the map that you use...you should only use maps with (shw) in the description (unofficial ones)
has nothing to do with my add on though since it doesnt touch anything but campaigns and challenges.
