nope, died a long time ago. Most of the people that were working on it moved on to the Kobrakai/Liberatus team for Unreal3

Personally I'm not even waiting for Unreal Engine 3.0 to be released, I've started modding already ;)
Also just as a heads-up to all you people.
Gears of War will be released mid-2006 which uses the Unreal 3.0 Engine.
