for the record you can only get the Horadric staff in the 7.8 version.... I can't find it in 7.9 anywhere. the characters are compatible in both though. so what I did is make a copy of each version and play 7.9 until I need the staff, then load my character with 7.8 and transmute wirts leg. then load back to 7.9. and the staff is there.

I still can't find the staff..... out of all of the mods I've played this is one of my favs especially with the necro skills... very disappointed at not being able to move past act 2... I've even tried putting the staff in my inventory with a hero editor... no go. is there any way to fix this?
