I have a stupid question, how do I save? Do I need to find something so I can?

Because I cannot click save, since its black out. /:

I found this game to be VERY fun and addicting, but I wonder, just as a question, you think you can add something to the game where you can store Items at? I always find myself wanting to place my items somewhere before I go do something like a Quest were I may need to die, or a hard enemy.

Because I find sometimes when I die, I loose items, good, or bad! /:
