The STA3 mod is already exceptional.

Animations are beautiful, the conversion to Star Trek themed universe just works really well, and balance is pretty good. The 'feel' of the Borg as an opponent even works... and I know all these things are improved with the CTA expansion/revision.

The only reason I am not willing to give this a 10/10 is actually the release schedule: basically going from 1.0 to 2.0 with extremely little public iteration over an 8-month timespan *can* result in excellent games, but is somewhat problematic for the fans who already found (mostly minor) issues early on in the 1.0 release. As these are rolled in to the CTA release, these people have been waiting for most of that time without any revealed schedule for the improvements.

Thankfully, those issues *are* minor, and the sheer quality of the mod easily overwhelms any misgivings I might have over scheduling. I look forward to CTA!
