Hello!:), I am Turkish007, I live in Istanbul, but my hometown is Rize, which is the land of tea, corn-bread, anchovy, cabbage, and crooked noses :D I dont have a lot of time to play games, but when I do I play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Verdun Online,Unturned, GTA-SA and a couple of other games. I am one of the leaders of Forgotten Hope Turkish Community. I am especially interested in 20th century history and I am good in Ottoman and Turkish history. I am a patriot in my own ways. I can also play the electric and acoustic guitar. I love jazz, blues and classic rock (huge Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan) Enjoy your time on my profile! :)
Based on an original photo taken in Normandy 1944. This is my first time actually attempting to draw a full soldier, so I need your review.
Wow! This is amazing!
Thanks :)
I have to agree Well done my Turkish Friend.
Thank you :)
Never knew you drew. Looking great but he appears to be missing a certain important part to humans ;D I'm just kidding. I love the hands. I can do hands okay but they tend to end up screwy.
Thanks :)
Yeah hands are a total bitch to draw. But I got used to drawing them.
Well done. THIS IS AWESOME !
Thanks a lot :)
It looks like a German paratrooper... a somethingjager. Darn, I never know the spelling of German just the word.
But I have seen camouflage of this sort on regular troops. It's just the seasons I guess.
Hmm, let me fiddle thorugh my Wehrmacht and German knowledge...
Uh... FalschSchirmJäger?
I used to speak German better than Turkish, but now I forgot 90% of it :(
I know a word!
Ziggeretten.
How did I learn it?
Company of Heroes.
I've learned 90% of the vocabulary of foreign languages I have from games, and never understood much. Just like a phrase from BF3 in Russian that sounds like:
Balinyosh, inishtobrata.
Ah yes, Russian. I learned "Ruki vyerkh" which means "hands up" from some movies.
I can speak German but not fluently, Swedish is my best :)
Ich spreche Deutch ein bischen, aber keine Schwedich :)
你好我的土耳其朋友!
Çin də mi bilirsən?
No, that was Google Translate. I can speak the following languages:
Swedish
English
Spanish
French
German
Russian
A bit of Arabic
and a bit of Norwegian
Thats about it
Holy **** 0_0...
You hablo Espanol un poco...
Ah, and I can also speak Azerbaijani, since its like 70% same with Turkish.
I... can... speak... Australian... er... mate.
Ah... and I can speak Turkish... Kebab....
Whats so shocking?
The 3 things thsy come to mind if someone says Turkey is;
1) KEBAB!
2)Ottomans
3Genocide maker filthy Muslims..
I'm not Islamic, but I do know this. When someone claims they have killed or done something horrible in the name of Allah or whatever invisible friends that reside above, do not hate the religion he speaks of, show anger to the man instead, for it is he who has committed the act, not the deity.
Religion does not order to kill/hurt someone anyways. I hate this "killer Muslim" stereotype wihch has erected in the minds of the non-Muslims.
What about the crusades? The Pope called them against the Muslims in the "Holy Land" because he belived God told him to
No religion should demand the harming or death of another living thing. No living thing should centre their whole lives around religion.
1. Ok yeah Ottomans.
2. Yeah Kebab... WOW I suck lol
3. Actually I don't even think Muslims when I travel to the middle east until I see a mosque or something..then I just think of it as any other building of worship. Number three I think of.. wow look at all this history in this country..and about Turkish Yogurt.. XD
