how do i give npc's weapons in sandpit :D?

I love this, but after the level (i think it's zlab2) where in the end you have to ride up the elevator in the truck to hide from the turret, it bugs up. It's like i'm noclipped outside the next map, dead, and I can't spawn. Any help guys? I love the mod btw :P
