Head programmer and developer at Twin Jaguar Studios, I also do art. At this point, all of the games you see up on Twin Jaguar Studios I did most or all of the work for. I use Unity 3D and my preferred language is C# and I use paint.net for my art assets. I also have some minor experience with 3D modeling, but not a lot of it.
My themes in the games that I make are war, rebellion, and religion.

Droid Uprising is finally out and ready for purchase. It has taken nine months of hard work and dedication for it to be like that right now. This game is my first real endeavor into game development. The only other game I have ever made was Quest of Chef, and that game was mostly a learning experience to get into the game engine.

Over the course of development of the game, my game development skill increased dramatically. At every stage of development, I noticed issues that I did in the last stage of development and that it was too late to go back and fix them without overhauling the entire game. That happened several times, and I hope for the next game in the series to not have those same issues.

When I started this game in April, all I had for it was the character sprite. I had no other ideas of what I would do for the game. Over the nine month development span, ideas pieced themselves together and worked into a single product that was much larger than the ideas put into it. When a potentially new indie developer starts to think about indie development, it is usually because they have ideas that they want to make into a full game. That is not how this game worked, this game started with no ideas or thought behind it.

My art style for the game also changed quite a bit over the nine month game development span. I was not very accustomed to graphic design, or anything like that, but my skill gradually improved. At first, my style was simple sprites with a thick black outline, at the end it was more artistic and without outlines. Over the span of the eight levels, it is very apparent the change of style over the development time period.

This game has been a first for me as a developer for many things, and after having completed one game, all I want to do now is make more and more games. For quite a while, every game I put out now should be better than the last. At this point I cannot wait until I can release another game.
