Mod Tools are not needed, I larked the game for years without them. I just change the command points, strength of ships and things to see what happens.

I downloaded the 9.1.1 version. I changed things in the Mod Tools 2.0 but it crashes the game. Even the old Mod Tools save from 8.8 (which works) crashes the game. When it starts load the mission is just freezes. Sometimes I can close the game sometimes I can't. It even crashes Windows itself.

The game does seem to work normally, but when I quit the game, it still crashes windows and I have to restart the pc.

Thanks for the replies. I uninstalled the game and re-installed.

The voice changes must have been an instal problem as the admirals were still on the orignal keys.

But since the admirals have been changed I uninstalled this version and re-installed the 5.5 version.

Now the F keys have swapped. F1 is now for Hawkes, F2 is now Benson and F6 is now Hawlsey.

Is there a sound file problem?

I installed this version and Admiral Benson's voice is heard when playing. But, once I load the game Admiral Benson's voice is replaced with the standard male lancer voice.

I have looked at the A.db.exe and I can't understand a single thing.

Also, why has the harvester carrying load been reduced from 750 to 300?

Is there a chance anyone could raise the command points please?

The main ships I use are the commanders Benson with 11 of her ships and Halsey with 16 of his ships.

But I am now trying these commanders and Hawkes with 11 of his ships. But I can only use 11 Halsey ships now.

Just wondering if the command points could be raised so I can have 21 of each ship giving a total of 63 ships. I only play single player against 7 hard enemies.
