This game stands out among the masses.
It made an immediate impression on me, from the small square that housed it's title, to the screenshots and the gameplay videos.
If you're an indie gamer, you will want this in your collection.
I think for a lot of us, it captures so perfectly what we hope to find as we sift through the many rosters of Indie games presented to us. It might be the seeming simplicity of the art and pleasant color schemes that draw you in, it's enticing look and familiarity. Get closer, and the details of a talented artist's designs will shine. It's because of this the game plays so smoothly and naturally to us. That's a hard thing to balance, let alone achieve so perfectly.
Then there's everything else! A well blended amalgam of different gameplay elements that promises to be a fully satisfying experience. I think a new hero is born, one so many of us desperately hoped for. One I hope will last through the ages and become a truly iconic character. We will surely remember Elliot's Quest. -Tim Kelly
