The game concept is simple. Take a group of people. One of the group must complete a task. The rest of the group must stop him/her completing that task. At the same time the rest of the group also have their own agenda. A very simple concept, however when applied to "The Marderer" you will see and begin to understand the nature of this new type of game.

What is the game? The Marderer is a multi-player strategic cat and mouse game about murder, problem solving skills, stealth tactics and downright skulduggery. As the "Marderer" you must notch up as many kills as possible before the ol'bill catch up with you and make an example of you.

Where does the game take place? The game takes place in a small/mid city or town. We will attempt to remake small to medium versions of well known cities or towns, including various well known landmarks or infamous places. Due to game engine limitations, the game world will not be massive but Tiamica Games will be attempting to convey that impression. Due of the open world nature of the game, we will be attempting to control the level of freedom by offering closed environments, although we would like to keep the perception that the character can go anywhere. This therefore increases the importance of level design and freedom of interaction contained within the game world.
