Short but sweet.

Well, very short, and as mentioned in the description no game play of real interest. Uninteresting enough that despite having just played it, I can't really remember anything, except the ending, which a very hard, straight forward (as in standing at opposite ends of the street with no cover), near suicidal shootout.

The map might have been well crafted, but not well enough that I remember any of it. Of course, that also means that it wasn't bad enough to stand out. Throw in some better game play, and it might get good.

The weapons are a bit too well hidden for my taste. The game wasn't much fun on the first, second or third run-through, since I didn't really get much zombie killing done, trying to figure out what areas I might have missed looking in.

Still, once you get the lay-out of the level memorized, it might be fun for a romp or two.

Really nice. Desperate battles, airboat races, and choppers. What more can you ask of a map?

Background story is very simple, but that doesn't really detract from the map.

That was really nice. I really like the path through the glacier, with bits falling down, and having to bash through ice curtains. Really exciting. However.. there were a few things..

First off, I wouldn't have minded more ammo and health, especially in the first part. I didn't run completely out of ammo at any time, but I relied heavily on Alyx (IE letting her do all the shooting while I just dodged) so it felt like cheating.

Alyx had difficulty navigating some of the slopes in the first arctic map, making it necessary to keep an eye on her to make sure she was following. Don't know what the proper solution would be for that, but it is a bit irritating, especially when you need her against the hunters.

And I couldn't find out how to get through the 1st and 3rd door in the aperture section of the Borealis, so I ended up noclipping through.

Finally; shouldn't the player start with the gravity gun, if this were to be a theoretical episode 3? Felt kind of naked without it :p

Top notch mod. Thumbs up.

Unfortunately I seem to have stumbled across a bug. If I push the use button while in control of Mr Whirly, I go into first person mode again, with the weapon at the bottom at the screen, and able to jump and crouch and so on. Except that the movement keys are still connected to Mr Whirly, and the engine is still on. So I'm still driving. With a bit of jumping I can get outside of the vehicle, and drive it from a distance.

Which would be pretty cool, if not for the fact that I can't move myself except for jumping and crouching, and that I can't get back into Mr Whirly. So I'm pretty much stuck after having trapped the antlion guards.
