They're allegedly sending out keys for the bundle in an email to anyone subscribed to the "notify me of future bundles" newsletter. Of course since this is a fluctuating price bundle, when you get that email is anyone's guess as to whenever it's most convenient for the maintainers.

Their inability to change is what's been keeping me away from most of these bundles unless there's a game I really want in any of them. Even then, odds are pretty even that it'd just appear in a bundle run by one of their competitors.

I believe they've mentioned before that it's a combination of how many people have it wishlisted + the willingness of publishers/developers to give the go ahead for them to sell their titles once again.

(That and, apparently as were both blind - they mention they've collected results from various social media outlets :| )

I've opted not to purchase most of the Indie Royales ever since they removed the pre-order option. The only exception is if they have a game or two I'd absolutely like to get at a deal. If not, I don't mind skipping over them.

This is actually the first time I haven't bothered to spend enough to get the album. I did the last time (and the times I missed the pre-order) but the continuing rise coupled with the unabated frequency of bundles is really starting to put me off from spending to support these things. One bundle every 2 months - reasonable. One bundle every 2 weeks? Bordering on excessive. Supporting the indie game dev crowd is something I can get behind, but continuously ramming out bundles to the point where 10 are running concurrently against each other is where I would begin to draw a line. Not that such a scenario has happened but the way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if it does eventually hit that point.

Future Toward the Edge of Forever is actually priced at $5 on Starscream's Bandcamp. But what I find odd though is that paying $7 equates to buying the album at full price and the bundle itself at $2 - again baffling me why they went to the length of griefing those of us who took advantage of the pre-order system by yanking it away from us.

Get in early and save? Subscribing to the newsletter was supposed to accomplish this yet it always seems to be delivered anywhere from 3 to 5 hours after the bundle goes live.

Someone has to be THAT guy and I guess I'll be that someone, but I'd appreciate it if you all would return to the pre-order format.
