Didn't get abandoned - maps and servers are still up - go on cod4 cracked servers and there are plenty of European servers (mostly german because WAW and BO are banned in Germany I believe) and there are a handful of US servers

I suggest instead of downloading this mod from here, allow cod4 to do the work for you. Join this US server for all you North Americans - 184.22.204.57:28960

and it will auto download maps / all needed files to your folder. No fooling around and messing things up. AND- It will save them, so you don't need to download them again (unless on a different server and the file is titled differently)

look at this website, its got some ROTU servers in Europe (there are like 3-4 actually, just scan through the 10 pages of servers)

I will keep the number of servers that run ROTU updated constantly, and unless there is a new post within 2 weeks, these servers are still active.
