always tips, you are doing a great job.... don't stop, we can wait 10 years the date of release

-WHERE ARE THE BAYONET?????!!!!!????, all muscket-armed trops had to put it at morning and take off at night, doesen't matter if light, line ore elite trops....only rifleman don't have to do it.....don't give a **** to the tale of voltigeur who fight without it...is only a tale

-please make the troups move in formation, is horrible see man running left and right to reach their position

-introduce a stamina bar, soldier don't run all over the battlefield, they march very slowly 72 step/min, in ordinary pass then 120 in the route
140 in double time then charge run at will

-the muscket is holding by the left arm, only NCOs (sous-officiers) hold it like NapWars, you change it but is also errated, that position is the (ARM) ready for fire....is not so comfortable as position...trust me, i tried

-drummer in and standard bearer in rank, they where behind the line, and drummer repeat all the officer order (THIS SHOULD BE AN AMAZING ADD-ON, IMAGINE AN OFFICER SCREAM FOR "MAKE READY" THEN THE DRUMMER MAKE A ROLL AND ALL SOLDIER AIM, "FIRE!!!" BOOOOOOMMMMMM this should be amazing)

-didn't see any square formation....did you make it, coz inf should have a defense against this ULTRA OVERPOWERED cavalry....don't know a bonus in melee....or just only crouched with bayo.....but the men on horse should have at least half life of damage when he fall down....try to fall from an horse which run at 60 km/h while in charge

don't know how realistic would you like to make this game....but if you are intrested i've some tips in the firing mode....
usually nap. age's army use 2 type of fire...
(i only know the order french coz i'm a french reenactor)
1 fire by rank
1.1 of ploton, (ARM)first line crouch 2nd stand on place 3rd make a step left with foot, (JOUE) all aim and 3rd rank do it between the shoulder of his mate forward....FOE, all shoot, then to reload 1st RANK STAND UP
1.1 of division, same but you fire for division not ploton

2 the fire on two line
all soldier stand up, the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th,..., soldier of 1st and 2nd rank make fire and reload at will, then when they have closed the pan, 2nd,6th,11th,..., fire , and they go after the first shot they reload and fire at will...(This was the napoleonic machine gun)
the 3rd rank had an important role, they have to reload the 2nd rank muscket, this worked like this:
2nd shoot give the weapon to 3rd and 2nd shoot again, then reload shoot and give the weapon back, this allowed to make 2 fire and 1 reload at the 2nd rank

this tactic were used to engage the enemy and block him on place...and was very usefoul to smash enemy morale

sorry, i can find few thing at time......is not a complain, but only little tips to reach the perfection.... IF YOU CAN.... when men are reloading, while they are in "l'arme à gauche" and put the cartridge in the barrel, the but is near the left feet, on the floor...

I hope they are at least 2 different group and not different level of a single unit.....however, old guard officers has also the bonnet à poil (busby)

and under the backpack, they have place to put the bonnet, the hat like EMPIRE TOTAL WAR drummer....or pijama hat

1 last thing can you take contact with a group of any languages group of napoleonic wars to give 'em the text....so we can translate and make a good version of game in time with your relase!!!!!

however.... do you think to develop a recruit sistem based on the battallion such as "hi ser, i'm the sergent of the old guard, would you like to employ my 40 men???" or will be like the old warband so 1 by 1?????

you should make something as great battery, in field or only in the back ground, to ask fire in a place of battlefields by use the F5 button

Hi Docm, if would you like to have an idea of your work, you can send at least the alpha version at the active regiments of NapWars, we love this age....maybe we can help you to improve the gameply experience...
and maybe if a group is very exited of your work can finance you....

Hi Docm, have you ever read Von Clausewitz? cos if haven't you shoul read it cos have alot of information about strategy, taticcs and other several tips to develop on the mod such as form column of battalion or the importance of comunication lines

that's coz, the musket were very inaccurate....so you have the worst targeting sistem of ever

HEY DOC, give us an approximal countdown for this amazing mod.....

if you look carefully, for example in this wanderful image about the prussian muscketeers, you can see a small pack where are some water, 30 cartridge(20 are in the other bag), multitool used to fix the muscket, 3 flint, the cloth(cos' they camp near the battlefield), [the french use to carry rations for 4 days in the pack], and maybe some precius stuff for the private(they are in 19th sec...there were a lot of theft)

french troops never left their pack cos' they have to march quikly, fight and then march again....maybe the only troop who left the pack were russian and austrian, if you read the book :"napoleon's campains" by david chandler....is written about austerlitz that russian and austrian run away without thei pack, the french didn't follow them cos' started to loot thei pack but they found only a piece of black bread, and a Mary's icon

Docm....if you need any help, ask here on forum, maybe we are useless for programming but a lot of us as got a lot of historically knowledge and a lot of ideas for different army and challenge develop

what about italian mercenary troops??

something like light infatry "tiralleurs do po", or the guard "granatieri della guardia reale", they were very important in Borodino and Napoleon allowed these troops the hounour of the Parade's head in Moscow

I think that the best way ti play on warband is with a joypad.......so.....
