Sorry for the late reply. And you have done nothing wrong, don't worry, but you can't host your own server with the provided files. It just contains the client files necessary to join our server. Try to connect to 1337.tx-gaming.net, and if you're lucky, there are people on it.

In the main menu, go to "Multiplayer" and then select "Connect to IP". Enter 1337.tx-gaming.net and click on "OK".

It's not required to use the "Start Game" Button from the Updater anymore (it was prior to WP 7), just start the game as you always did and join a WarPack server. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You have to join supported servers (To join our server select IP Join: "1337.tx-gaming.net") to play the maps, or host your own server and use console commands to open WP maps. For example type "open TX_WP_Tombs" to open that map.

Yes, simply delete the WarPack folder that can be found in the install directory.

Its a multiplayer modification

There are lightsabers, but they are not really balanced for the multiplayer yet. We might spend a little bit more time in adding it, but since our team is pretty small it might not be done very soon.

It only works in the multiplayer mode on the WarPack 8 servers.

It actually works with the latest update to 8.2, it will be released within the next few hours. That should solve all the problems. You need to download the full 8.2 setup though and not run the updater. Thanks!

You can either join one of the 2 public servers for the entire community, or host a local server on your PC. Click on "Internet" and "Create Internet Game". Then open the console within the game (key is usually set on ~ or ö key) and type "open mapname". Example: Click ~/ö to open the console, and type 'open TX_WP_StamperHD" to open the map named TX_WP_StamperHD. Have fun!
