I've just finished playing this and it was absolutely awesome. I've been playing Deus Ex to completion at least once a year for the last 20 years, it's my all time favourite game and I absolutely approve this mod! :)

Huge thanks to the creators and testers, that must have been an enormous amount of work, especially considering the level of quality. Apart from just a handful of slightly off-sounding edits, the whole experience felt very "official".

I've replayed Deus Ex at least once a year since it's release, played all serious mods and conversions that are in existence... I'm extremely excited by the upcoming 9.0 update. GMDX 8.0 was the best version of Deus Ex I've ever played, and I'm pretty sure GMDX 9.0 will top even that. The attention to detail is incredible, while respecting the original aspects, retaining consistency and adding value.

If there would be a version of Desert Island Discs for video games, my first choice would be GMDX without a single doubt. Vanilla Deus Ex alone has incredible replay value, even though the last couple of times I had to invent my own hurdles to make it challenging, like not killing anyone (except maybe AN, GH and WS ;), only saving at the beginning of the level and such... but GMDX adds more challenge and several new ways to play, and this really brings Deus Ex to perfection.
