Well, I just submitted an addon to the Nintendo DS software PictoChat that essentially turns it into a min-tabletop wargame. The geist is that you and another player in a local area have two bases and try to destroy each other's base... and I just forgot to add in some small detail that will most likely be exploited later. *Sigh*

Anyways, I've decided each time I design something I become too ambitious, so I'm starting to put a curb on myself. Lately I've been brainstorming something I call a Total Defence Game with a maximum of 12 units and is a Flash game. I've started to learn Flash and started to get back into Hammer.

1 more year til High School ends...!

Wow, after a few months I've been thinking of a game idea that I want to turn MMORTS with aspects similar to Warzone 2100. However, it just occured to me that Warzone 2100 is free under GPL so I think I'm going to mod/make a game off of the engine with these goals in mind:

-Control and upgrade a personal zepplin
-Build and upgrade arial, ground, and sea units; every one will be unique
-Build and upgrade cities and farmlands
-Create a nation with other players
-A full trade and political system between nations and cities; run by players or AI
-Free or low cost to play
-Low system requirements
-regenerating natural resources

So in a nutshell think Civ... but with zepplins... and online. Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day break and will post later :D

Hello, if you will notice this is my first post here at ModDB and I really want to get started in the modding community.

For a while now I have been thinking of a full conversion mod (I know, risky for a first timer) that is really just one multiplayer map. The catch? The multiplayer tells a story. It would be a 16 player objective based game with player modifications along the way so that the player can stay up to date against the opposing team.

I don't know what else to say without throwing spoilers out, but think of it as "Science and Industry" mod with an added story.
