I am naive when it comes to copyright laws, I will admit. But I do believe that a video game modification based upon the battle of thermoplye, called 300. Would probably stand up in court, the similarities would be too great...

but then again that is my own personal opinion.

Yeah your defiently going to have to re-name this mod, coprights, but the battle of thermopyle is historical fact as well as the many people in the movie so your good on that part. I just hope nothing bad happens to this mod like 300 spartans showing up at the mod leaders house and asking him pay up for using frank millers name...

excellent ******* writing for the movie, if this is the quality of work that we are to be expecting from you I am looking forward to what this mod may have to offer...

though the animation seemed a bit stiff and the bodies of the characters seemed oddly proportioned

ok couple things (just my two cents though) when you release a mod make sure that its accessible to everyone, meaning there are instructions of some sort (unless I missed something) on controls and such. Also when you do finally let your mod outta the floodgates make sure you have at least one dedicated server running on a good connection. it would really get people to play your mod and eventually start servers of their own.

But right now people are going to download this mod, not be able to join a server because there are none running, create their own and still not know what they are doing. They are just going to delete the mod and never touch it again.

I have been dreaming of a mod like this forever it would seem, I have always wanted to play a game like this.

Im learning 3dsmax right now if I become decent at it I will apply for this mod.

Looking over your team, I see that you have davor modelling for you.

Im pretty sure the 3d aspect of this mod is going to be very well done, from my recollection he is an ace modeller.
