Aaronopolis

Mod review

*This map has fantastic aesthetics. Also I actually love that it has a 2005 feel - it's not trying to be all shader-patchy (which I have nothing against). I just think stock feel fits well
*I absolutely ran my PC with the side cover off, so that was a core memory moment
*Marth loves Cheez-Its, and has a whole dresser drawer full
*Parkouring is so much fun in this map. I was happy that there's just enough height to get on the speaker shelf by Legolas
*I turned the music off temporarily to check ambience. Did I hear a CPU fan going while I was standing on top of the Xbox 360, or am I crazy?
*Lots of copies of SWBF2 lying around, all for the Xbox. If you can't get PC, that's the next best thing :mrgreengt:
*The middle Lego building can be entered and walked around in. I was hoping for that!
*I only played Hero Assault, but the AI was quite competent. Nobody got stuck, and the CPs were set in such a way that it all flowed really well

Battlefront II: Expanded - The Post-Endor Era

Mod review

There are few mods that explore this time in Star Wars, and fewer that really get into the EU/Legacy territory. This does that, and it does it with perfection. But even if you don't know the characters or lore behind this era you'll find yourself hooked by the gameplay. It's a must-download for any Battlefront fan.

Santa's Workshop

Mod review

What a great use of Nym's Keep! It almost looks better as a Christmas map! Another solid entry from bk2, definitely worthy of space on your hard drive.
