The name of the game is actually "Call to Terror: The Forsaken Frontier" In the world, or what's left of it, has been destroyed twice, and with the second destruction, a pink/purple noxious gas has started to flow from the west, known as "The Terror", or simply "Terror". Breathing in the gas has adverse effects on normal people. Ranging from insanity, rage, madness, to even instant death with a myriad of effects spread out inbetween (Depending on the thickness in a given area). Some have come to embrace the Terror, it having given them extraordinary abilities and weapons, but with that power, usually comes madness, shifting in and out of pure evil, they are the "Terror-Stricken". Though there is a counter-agent to the Terror, called Hope. This is the only thing that makes the land even remotely habitable. Dotted in towns are Hope Generators, that push the Terror back, so people can live in what some like to call "safety" There's also an elite task force called "Lonestars" which have had Hope directly injected into them, to help combat the sinister Terror-Stricken, developing powers of their own.
