Welcome to the Trenches, 1917. A World War 1 first person horror survival game where you, caught behind enemy lines - have to survive and escape the harsh war-torn environment and experience World War l like never before from the eyes of James R. in this surreal nightmare, as you fight for your life and for your sanity. Explore the real chilling story as you navigate the horrors equipped with only your senses, hearing and trench whistle. Try to escape by collecting vital clues and find out what is going on. Trenches is a psychological horror game - where your only escape is through your senses and hearing using your trench whistle to guide you, however that also comes at a price since the enemy can hear your trench whistle. Enemies will also be able to hear if you walk on wood as it will make creaking noise or if you break any bottles. Try to escape the trenches with caution as every corner that you will turn can be your last.
Lately you may have noticed some changes, that is that we are undergoing new major changes and we are having a name change. Our new website will be located steelkrill.com, and we would like to welcome you, Steelkrill Studio.
Steelkrill Studio (formally known as KGames) is a an independent games innovative 3D developer, video game and asset developer, which is also the creator and self publisher of two released Indie Games [REC] Shutter and Baby Blues and several complete project assets. Focusing mostly on making free Indie games of all genre while also developing side assets focusing on the assets, complete projects, KITs, Packs, Templates and 3D models that drastically speeds up your time for game development both for independent developers and/or any one that is willing to start into game developing.
We have been undergoing some issues lately which kept us from creating games but now hopefully, we are back to the challenge. A lot have change since the past couple of years that includes the developer, the "company" and everything related. We are now back, and in need of your support as we can't do this alone. You can support us by sharing and spreading the word and love or you can always visit our patron page to become a loving' patron. Just read more below. Official KGames is a solo independent video game developer, which is the creator and self publisher of two released Indie Games [REC] Shutter and Baby Blues. Focusing on making free Indie games of all genre, It was founded in early 2012 and got the name from the first letter of the main founder and developer, Kumi.
[REC] Shutter is a free-to-play horror adventure game, based on playing as a reporter in a asylum; it is the first project to be developed and released by KGames on Nov 5, 2012 for Windows.
