Interesting. Never noticed that myself, though I'm not on Win10.

You could try changing the MIDI playback device in Blood's SETUP.EXE. Not 100% sure what it's set to by default (can't check, at work), but it should be either Soundblaster or General MIDI. Try switching it between those and see if it gives any better sound.

The only other thing I could think to try would be the 64-bit DOSBox SVN Daum if you're running a 64-bit version of Windows 10, but that's 100% a shot in the dark.

Forgot something important, namely a README. If you downloaded without it, run these commands or add them to dosboxBlood.conf before running BME.BAT to use the launcher:

mount b bme
mount m mod
