Hey guys/gals! Amateur modder here, with a real pull towards hardcore games, such as Dark Souls, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and stuff like Arma, DayZ, or ARK. I currently (and probably always will) game with the First Cavalry Division (www.thefirstcav.com), and maintain a pretty cool YouTube channel (www.YouTube.com/sidneykylebowman1). If you've got any questions, wanna game, or just feel like having a chat, message me here, visit me at 1Cav, find me on Steam, or hit me up on YouTube. Thanks, stay cool.

Doom 3: Redux

Mod review

I'll change this review to 10/10 once this issue is solved:

Game launches and runs fine. I changed my resolution to 1920x1080 (16:9) using the in-game menu, as was reported to be supported by this mod.

The screen is stretched out in a very odd fashion. Characters are very tall, everything looks and feels wrong.

I haven't touched the .cfg for the base game, or the mod.

Additionally (haven't played much because of this issue) the steam leaving the pipe right at the start has an odd bubble effect to it.

My computer is (as anyone here will brag about) top of the line, and this isn't a performance/incompatibility issue (I've played this game in 1080p before, as well as more advanced/graphically/cpu taxing games).

The readme, reviews, description, and comments here and in the files give me no indication of any special instruction I might have missed, or any way to resolve this issue.

I've posted a comment on the Reddit post for this mod, that'll be the easiest way to respond.

Thanks.

EDIT:

Here's proof that I followed your steps, with no results. Read this before giving my review further dislikes.

EDIT:

After a clean reinstall, the mod runs fine. Apologies for the rough words. 10/10.
