THey should have their own AI straight away.
For example, when I create a Shadow Battlecrab and a Vorlon ship; they will attack each other straight away.
So I don't know what the issue is there.
There will be an update in the coming weeks however, so hopefully that may resolve any issues.

So here is the B5 conversion mod for X3 Terran Conflict (Please read before downloading, I'll try to be brief):

1. Download the mod
2. Make sure you have a clean install of X3TC v3.2 (THERE'S NO GOING BACK TO VANILLA AFTER THE CHANGES, WITHOUT ANOTHER CLEAN INSTALL)
Maybe install it in a different location if you want to keep an existing copy?
3. If you want the Cycrow cheats then install them next as my scripts WILL write over them (I recommend that you do, if you want to make vids or cheat in ships etc)

4. Now extract the mod into your X3TC directory
5. Rename the last two sets of CAT/DAT files so that they follow the number progression of the ones already there, probably 14 and 15
6. Go into the loadscreen folder, create another folder called hidden and shove the old X3 screens into it(unless you want to have them show in-game)

It's only been tested with win7/win10 and no other mods. (it works with a steam install)
It's way better than the demo, but still there are things missing or not changed...wrong videos or voices etc
Most B5 ships and other stuff is in, but the League are a bit thin and so they have temporary stations etc..
One notable ship missing is the Excalibur.

I/we hope to be able to patch a lot of the missing stuff in at some point. THIS WOULD LIKELY REQUIRE A RESTART, SO DON'T BUILD AN EMPIRE
YOU'D HATE TO LOSE PLEASE.

It has lots of content and therefore potential for story/missions(see X3 MD(mission director), but there are very few in there at the moment.

Hence the SANDBOX title. It's not been tested anywhere near as much as I'd like. I/we really hope you get something out of it after such a long wait

Once in-game set the Gamma to about 112.

Not dead!!!

We haven't disappeared -- we're just busy trying to get it right :o)

You should see it firing ;o)

There will be missions in the game, well a whole story line that starts roughly at the start of series one and continues beyond the end of series 5.... however, it will be up to you if you want to do it. You can free play the galaxy if you wish picking up random missions thoughout the galaxy - provided you're liked by the group in question.... ;o)

I have to say, I'm working now with the current version - much, much more than the demo - and it works absolutely fine with version 3.0; so no panics there. The end game willl be fully compatible with version 3.0. The demo should be ironically; but will require some fiddling potentially.

Well dron1885, whilst our mod is definitely based on the X series - NOTHING remains of it. The game itself only has the 'Egosoft' introduction left now..... It definitely is a TC :o)

There was certainly something about Babylon 4 :o) I'm sure it won't go amiss in our mod :o)

As Kasabian says, nothing remains from the original now. We've changed the internal maps, graphics, ships, stations, backgrounds basically anything that was X3 is being taken out and being replaced by Babylon 5 :o)

The release? Well, I won't say the standard remark but I will say it WILL get completed and we're picking up pace again.

If you read the books / comics etc like I've had to do, you find out that B4 is still around from 1,000 years in the past.... so B4 will be around ;o)

The demo is out now.... the full version is still someway off.... we need more 3d modellers :oD

We certainly hope it will go thru the entire series. Our full release will have the whole galaxy in it, with races.... beyond that we'll probably release with series 1 and 2 "attached" and then release more series as time progresses.

It's a total conversion, so you need the original game and it adds to that.

This demo is based just before B5... when the game is released it will be based at the start - or thereabouts - of the series and time will progres from there....

As long as you follow the readme, it should work with all versions.... it is an alpha demo though!!!

It will a total conversion for X3 : Terran Conflict so as long as you have an up to date version of that you'll be fine to play it.

As for when it's completed?! Hmm, well we're doing the best we can and we will finish it! It's coming along in leaps and bounds but we still need artists - 3d or 2d artists as well as voice actors. Any offers to contact me please :o)

We have been moving slowly in the past few months due to the transition to X3TC, however we are not picking up apace and have more EA in that we had before so we are doing well.

We have more to show now and soon will be posting a new video, so if anyone is interested; pop along to the website.
