Sorry to necro but I decided to log in and at least label my mod as discontinued, obvious as it may be. Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! I wish I had been able to continue work on this mod back when it was still relevant, but life events forced me to halt all progress on it. By the time that I was in a position to continue working on it, the mod was horribly outdated and usurped by much better projects than mine. I'm glad that you enjoyed my work though! As of writing this, GAMMA is the star child of Stalker modding, and I will be working with that if I ever decide to get back into mod making.

Wow, my mod has mods :) I'm actually thinking about setting up a dedicated mod page for CCCP. I want something that I can post progress updates on, and also have an add on section for things like this. Good job on putting this add on together btw! I'm happy to announce that I am working on some additions to CCCP that were in high demand by the community. The next version will be much better than CCCP v1.1. It includes a number of fixes, balances, and additions. Thanks for your support!

I'm still trying to decide if I want to put it in. There are aspects of it that I need to figure out how to implement. I have been experimenting with different things, so hopefully I'll find a way to package in. The good news is that I've already implemented a feature from dynamic hud for the next update.

I'm happy to say that I have fixed the grenade issue for the next update. Trader inventories will also be changed in the update. Each trader will have a different set of weapons that they carry, and offer better or worse prices on guns that they do or don't specialize in. For instance, the Bandit trader might specialize in old Soviet assault rifles, but still carry some NATO weaponry. Any weapon that falls under his specialty will be sold at a cheaper price than the other traders, but the NATO weaponry he carries will be much more expensive. Also, I will be sticking with the current system of not having guns/ammo/etc. appear at random in trader inventories. In regards to npc loadouts, I would like to change them in the manner that you suggest, but it will probably have to wait until I finish with my other priorities. Anyway, thanks for your input! I'm excited to show everyone my changes in the coming updates.

As far as I know, this is caused by dynamic factions. I remember having the same thing happen to me a while back during one of my CoC play-throughs. I'm not exactly sure what causes it, but I'm guessing that it has something to do with a faction becoming an enemy, and then a friend in the middle of the story quests.

I checked it out, but I can't replicate the issue. I've looked through the configs, cross referenced the files, tested it in-game, but everything is fine on my end. At any point did you overwrite the gamedata\configs\misc\items.ltx, and/or gamedata\configs\plugins\itms_manager.ltx file with anything that wasn't included in the mod?

Yeah I looked at the files, and it should merge ok. It will have to wait until after I finish the balance update though. After play testing the mod some more, I have noticed that there are some serious issues with the balance of certain things.

I might be able to do that. I did see a mod for increased rescan times at one point, but I'm not sure if it is compatible with trx alife. I will get back to you on that.

In case anybody reads through this issue, I just want to mention that it has been fixed. If you edit STALKER files, you can not do it with a basic text editor like notepad. It will not work! Use Notepad++ or something similar.

I will be putting in Lost To the Zone after I finish up with all the weapon and price balances. LTTZ already comes with artifact expansion built in. I'm glad that you are enjoying the mod though!

I read through your crash log again, and I think this is something that I'll be able to fix once I am able to get on my computer. Are you using any of the optional mods? It looks like there is a bad script reference within one of the files. At the very least, I can put out an interim patch to work around the bug until I can get it figured out.

Maybe the game can only handle a weapon condition range of 100 or less. I am busy with other things today but I will look into this as soon as I am able. You can also try testing that theory if you want.

I have only ever used jsgame with COM Last Day, so I'm really not sure if it can or can't be used. Dynamic faction relations can be used, though I'm not sure about ironman second wind. The golden rule is that a mod is probably fine so long as it doesn't overwrite anything. I'm going to be putting out an update this weekend that will patch a few bugs, and also include some optional files such as dynamic factions. If you don't want to wait, it is 100% safe to drop in dynamic factions on your own. The reason you might want to wait is if you would like to use my faction relationship changes to start a new game with. Also, I will be making it optional to use my relationships or the default ones in dynamic factions.

When you go to to change the numbers in the parenthesis, you will see two numbers in them. One number should be be the highest condition that can be found. The other number should be the lowest. Negative numbers will give the game a higher range to select from. In the case of CCCP, weapons will drop with a condition of -60% (if I remember that right) all the way up to 40%. There are no negative conditions represented in-gqme, so any negative condition weapon will be represented as 0%

40% is the max condition that weapons will drop at. There is a determining variable in place that is set to have a much higher likelihood of dropping guns at 0%. I can tell you how to change it but you will have to give me a bit of time to get it written out. I am a little preoccupied atm.

My great grandmother was ukrainian but unfortunately she passed away before I was old enough to learn about her life in the Ukraine. Hearing things like what your grandma said about the hammer and sickle is really awesome to me because it sheds light on our cultural roots. Anyway, that's my deep thought for the day. Thanks for your compliment though! knowing that it is met with approval by somebody who has experience in weapon modding makes me even more proud of my work.

I might be able to do it later on after I finish with my priority updates. I'm not saying yes to itemsoup, but I'm not saying no. I will revisit it when I have a better idea of how I'll feel upon project completion. Currently my definite goals are to finish rebalancing, add in the Artifact Expansion mod, add in Lost To the Zone if possible, rebalance those additions if necessary, and bugfix whatever I can. I also want to attempt to carry over the weapons from COM STCOP 2.9 but with new parameters regarding the worn and rusty weapons. I want them to fit into the regular condition weapons by making them a good deal cheaper, but also more likely to jam and deteriorate. However, I have no experience with weapon importation, so I'm not sure if it's even something that I could pull off. Regardless, if I'm actually able to do so, it will be a long term project that I may choose to begin working on instead of any other mod merges. So yeah, that is my really long winded version of saying maybe. I'm really glad that you are enjoying my mod though. I'm excited to make it even better for you guys!

As awesome as it sounds, I won't be able to add it in. It's beyond my capability to do so. Also, it is super incompatible with a lot of the mods that are used in mine. The best I can do is add in Lost To the Zone at some point. Sorry guys!

Hey smarch, good to see you! Thanks for making your weapon configuration mod! You did an amazing job on it. I would love to hear your thoughts on the changes I made to the shotguns in my mod. What did you mean by what you wrote? I'm using Google to translate, so it's probably 90% wrong.
