How could I?!?! The MXL 2001's are condenser mics. Condenser pressure gradient mics to be exact. I glanced at the model number and mixed them up with a different Sennheiser model. EEP! I blame lack of coffee.

Yeah, 2 of them were shotgun mics. The MXL 2001's. The Shure SM57 is a uni-directional dynamic mic. Great mics that can take a beating ;)

A fader is a linear or sliding control used to adjust signal level. Example; volume. :)

Great tutorial. Nice to see a bit of attention come to us sound designers. Btw, when are you going to activate my SDR account? :)
