Well that really sucks!
I hope they acknowledge the success of their own project (Kickstarter) and allow projects from foreign countries as well.
Somehow the guys who make FTL are from China, they must know somebody in the US then.
I think it was not such a wise choice to use 8-Bitfunding.
When I look at the popular projects, non of them is even close to the funding goal. That site is just unknown.
I think Kickstarter was just in the (Internet) news and got lots of attention from gamers who are willing to support.
I would think you could reach your goal of 10k in a few days if not less.
Your game looks really awesome!
On 8-Bitfunding you want to reach 10k to work on it fulltime, but the timeline is more than 100 days. Why wait that long? Kickstarter has a huge audience and a 1 month period, you would get your funding much faster done. And work on this fulltime quickly.
The fees are a little higher, because Amazon takes 5% for payment.
Anyway, keep up the good work! It looks promising!!!
