Even if its a big troll, and because a lot of people don't know Britanny history, I'm forced to underline (with my low level english) the fact that 98% of this comment is wrong.

We still have today a big cultural power, but that's all, we are a part of France since a long time.

Because its very long, I will summarize :

During middle age we were not 100% under French command (we had a lot of wars/battles againt French crown and we were mainly independent in the early Middle Ages), but a lot of troops from Brittany fought for France during middle age(starting with Guillaume le Conquérant in Hastings).
During its best years, Brittany was well knowed for her strong cavalry. And chivalry of Brittany ( with Bertrand du Guesclin, Olivier de Clisson, Arthur de Richemont) was famous among French kings who used to give them armys to command.

A good exemple of French army fighting with soldiers from Britanny is the battle of Castillon in 1453 (French victory against England) wich mark the end of the Hundred Years' War.

The twisted plot here is that Britanny's location is between England and France; so during middle age, it was a strategic point to control.
Both country used Britanny as political and military battlefield.
As a result, for example, you have the War of the Breton Succession, which sided Britanny against Britanny (with France and England on each side)

Finally we did married one of our Duchess (Anne) to a french king in order to ally.
Since then we are 100% from France.

We did have "IRA" equivalent (only in name, not in violence), ARB and FLB, but they are mainly inactive today. Yes they blowed some things between 1966 and 2000 but they did few casualties and they were better known than feared by French government.

Lol WTF this part with the UN and french crime against humanity
