I've never heard of "The Catacombs" before, but the enemies from it look pretty cool. I'll definitely give this a shot. Thanks a lot.

It probably is to be honest. I wasn't thinking of YT when I made the mod, but I can understand wanting to use it on there. Does YT tell you which songs are copyrighted? That would make the process much faster for me.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it. To me, it's essential when playing Doom.
Here's a quick guide to make your own:
1. Extract the contents of the .pk3 file to a new folder with 7z or winrar.
2. Open the "Music" folder that's inside, and replace any or all of the files that start with "SONG0--" with songs that you want to use. Just make sure to remember what each song is, because you'll need it for the next part
3. Next, open the "LANGUAGE.txt" file. Once you open the file, it should be pretty self explanatory what parts you need to replace with your own. It's just the artists and song names ;)
4. After you're all done, highlight all the files and folders, right click and select "Add To Archive". When the window opens, change the .zip extension at the end of the filename to .pk3
5. Done
Sorry dude, I know I'm extremely behind responding to your comment. That sucks about the copyright warning, but I'll look into creating a safe for YT version if you're still interested.
Dang, I didn't even think about Reshade, that's a good idea. That'd be cool if a preset was already available, but if I come up with something good I'll be sure to share it with everyone.
I like it a lot, thanks for sharing. Off topic, but is there an actual shader or mod that has that CRT effect that you have in the screenshot? I love that look a lot.
Dude, that looks f#cking awesome! Truly, outstanding job to say the least! The entire scene looks insane.
Damn that is so intense. I love the sounds, but dang that would be scary.
Sorry for the novel if you read this. Just basically a list of compliments on the changes with a minor suggestion.
I've been a huge fan of version 1 ever since you released it. This new version seems just as awesome, but does have improved performance as you stated.
- The new water looks extremely good. I'm not sure if it has reflection, or if the effect that you created for it just gives it that illusion. Either way, it looks awesome.
- The fire effects looks much better now, especially when using the better Fire FX addon mod you released. The actual flames look great, but I love how it looks like the fire is actually inside or surrounding the torches. I don't know if that makes sense, but you know what you did, and it's really cool.
- The improved flaming embers look amazing especially when using the BFG. Kind of miss them on the imps but I understand why you removed them. Nonetheless, excellent work.
- As for the weapon FX. You nailed every one of them. Honestly.
- I know it destroys performance, but I do miss the red fog being produced by the larger torches, but am glad you still have it on the small ones. (at least from what I can tell using Kinsie's Test Map).
My only suggestion would be to add an option menu that allows you to toggle certain effects if needed, such as turning off the fog fx if they're causing performance issues, and possibly do it by decoration and not as a whole.
Anyway, just wanted to say great job and thank you very much for the update. Seriously great work.
Also, I have no idea what Prime79 is talking about either as everything in the mod works completely fine.
OMG it looks awesome! It came out extremely good, excellent work! I thought the hat may have been tricky to sprite, but you obviously nailed it. The injuries look really cool too. Thank you so much for making this. Seriously, this is so cool. I'm going to use the hell out of this.
Heck yeah, thank you so much! I'll be the first to download it (or at least try to be) and put it to good to use. You're welcome for the deserved compliments and reference as well.
When it's released, a great mod to use it with if anyone wants a recommendation would be the Eriguns 2 arsenal.

This is an extremely cool mugshot. I'm not familiar with the character or games they're from, but I like the way they look a lot. Great work and thanks again for sharing it with us.
IF you have an ongoing list of to-do's as you mentioned in your comment above this one, can you consider adding a Bloodborne Hunter? If not, totally fine, I just don't have the skills myself. Here's a good reference if you want to check it out.

I'm not familiar with the character, but it's a cool mugshot and I like it a lot. Nicely done, yet again.
I wasn't lying 3 years ago when I said Spawn 1 was f#cking amazing, and now I'm one of the first to be back for #2. Thank you so much for not abandoning this project. You're awesome, and so are you mods. Will definitely be back with some feedback after I play it. Congrats on the release, and thank you very much for sharing it with us.
Thank you so much for not releasing this article yesterday because I wouldn't have believed it at all. This is amazing news though and I'm definitely going to be keeping up with this 100%.
Thank you very much for the updates. This mod is amazing, and in my opinion the absolute best D3 styled mod for D1 & 2 there is. Every aspect is extremely well made and it only improves with each update.
I tried to play this mod, but for some reason it doesn't show my mouse cursor at all when it loads so I can't reposition my window (playing in windowed), and the textures are completely messed up where it looks like all the textures are in an infinite mirror hallway, I don't know how else to describe it. I just extracted the game, added the patches, then ran it with the DNF.bat file. Does anyone else have any ideas how to fix it?
This is such a good music pack, it's hard to use anything now. ******* geez, I mean seriously. Also, SupremeOasis, you are also my hero for making the randomizer. Thank you both very much.
Dang dude, you don't mess around. That was super fast lol. And now it is truly complete. Thank you yet again, very much appreciated. Also, the new HUD looks awesome by the way. Forgot to mention that in my last post, but nicely done.
Thanks a lot for this. I've been hoping someone would do this someday because I love Supercharge, but always wanted the option to play it with different enemies sometimes. If you do any updates, do you think you could also add the vintage style skins for the shotguns that Supercharge has an option for? They're a lot cooler looking imo, but to each their own. Also the chaingun and rocket launcher SFX are a lot quieter then the other weapons in case you care to address that as well. Regardless, thanks again. Much appreciated.
Dang you are just a machine with these mugshots. This one came out really good too and is definitely a good one to use. Do you think you could try your hand at making a Bloodborne style one someday when you run out of ideas?
A little late for me to reply, but they can all also be used with this mod as well. Forum.zdoom.org
Thank you very much, whoever you are. Worked perfectly.
Do I need to install everything in the "Patches for 2.1" archive as well, or are those optional? Just want to make sure I do everything as intended.
Is there a specific place where the crashlog is stored at because it doesn't give one when the game crashes? It just goes straight to desktop with no reason why so I don't even know where to start looking.
I cleared the caches as well as from the Anomaly launcher, and it still crashes a few minutes in. It makes no sense. I'm heartbroken lol.
Does anyone know how to get AMD based systems to run Anomaly (including Expedition) without crashing 0-5 minutes in? I've read that AMD processors are glitchy for some reason and cause crashes, but can't find much info about solutions. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Geforce RTX 3070, and 16gb RAM, but can't ever play any version of Anomaly. This world is cruel lol.
This update is phenomenal! I love the reworked weapons/animations a lot, especially the fists. It looks really cool having one hand open and one in a fist too. The GL grenades bounce and sounds are much better, and the side to side movement on the weapons looks great. Thanks you very much to both you and Bloodwulf too for the fixing the texture isses. That's huge news. Seriously Dox, every time you update this it blows me away. You have good taste and know whats fun and what looks good.
Just curious, would you consider adding all of you other weapons you've made into the mod itself, like the deagle and magnum, and adding options to the menu so you could turn them off/on in-game without restarting engine? If not, it's not it's hard to just load them like we do know, it would just be cool to have them included if possible.
This would be pretty fun to try to say the least, but the one glaring issue is the reflective rocks. They stand out so much it's all I'd see while playing. Also the floor texture in the second image looks distorted. I can't tell what it actually is. Everything else looks amazing though. This is what I first thought Doom 2016 would look like.
If you lowered the damage in this most recent update, then thank you very much. That was the only drawback of the weapon imo. I'll test out the update after typing this. As for the Gearbox mod, here's a link to it as requested.
It's awesome
