You have the Source SDK Base 2007 installed? Did you install the mod to …\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\ ?

Make sure your e120 folders are not doubled up like …\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\e120\e120\

You can! The fgd is included, you just need to save them into the e120 directory and load them from the game.

Can you make sure the zip file extracted as …\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\e120 and not …\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\e120\e120

Some people have accidentally extracted the file in a way that doubles up the e120 folder.

Sorry, most laptops, including new ones, are most likely unable to run the current version of the mod. I plan on adding low detail dynamic lighting as an option in the next update.

I've been told it loads but the new weapon does not work on Linux. If there are any linux programmers out there I'd be glad to share the code to help get it running.

Can you post your specs? I have to ask if you have the latest video drivers?

The mod is very resource intensive, desktops no older than 2 years is a good rule.

Sorry about that. There's some work going on there to help clear memory. Try loading and staying put for about 30 seconds, then try opening the door. If that still doesn't work try typing sv_cheats 1 in the console then noclip to fly through the door, then noclip again to walk again. Sorry about that again, I'll see if I can figure out the cause.
