I'll try it, but if this was the issue, wouldn't it prevent all the sound effects from being heard? As it is now, I can hear some sound effects, for instance the environment, or the sound of enemy gunfire. But I can't hear my own gun fire, or Sidorovich's voice. Is it possible the sample rate would be one rate for some sound effects, and a different rate for others?

Hey Pavel, any idea why I can't hear certain sound effects, like my gun firing or the shop-keeper's voice? I didn't have this issue prior to installing the mod.

Sorry, scratch the above question. I experimented and got it to work. Only problem I'm having now is a strange one, I can't hear certain sound effects. For instance, I can't hear my gun fire or reload, although I can hear the enemies guns just fine. Also, I can't hear Sidorovich either. I imagine there are probably many more sounds I can't hear, but these are the ones I noticed after 5 minutes of play.

What do you suppose could be causing this? Thanks again Pavel, I'm a great admirer of your work.

Hi there. I'm a noob so forgive me, but after I download this and run the .exe, where exactly should I install this to? The original Stalker folder? What then? Thanks!
