Empires

Mod review

As others have said, this game is no Crysis. It doesn't look like the best, but it still looks great. One thing that definitely sets this game apart from everything else is that each round you play is unique. The same strategy that worked for one team probably won't work for another.

Not only that, but you must learn to adapt to situations in an instant and respond with teamwork. Should you prove to be a 'lone-wolf' type person, you can still wreck havoc in the enemy's base.

Each of the 4 classes have achieved a level of balance unseen for the past millennium, the 'researches' (basically unlocking upgrades, done on the commander's part) are better, and overall 2.29 has been a very enjoyable experience.

Is it difficult to learn? Yes. Empires has a very simple cover but a complex plot. There's an infinite amount of strategies to learn, and an innumerable amount of ways to execute them. But is it possible to jump in, play, and have fun? Definitely.
