Okay, I played through the 4th Beta and then watched a few video's. Like rossroxx said and you have already addresses, The Scale feels all wrong.
I don't want to harp on it but it almost feels like the camera is attached to the crotch, Most of the counter tops, tables chairs are almost over the head of the player but the couch and a few other furnishing are fine. I don't know about you but I don't hold my camera near my willy.
Second, the battery life is just way too short. I found myself running up the murder slow step, to get sleep, to dash back down the murder slow steps to catch what was going on down stairs only to turn around and dash back up to stay by the bed.
I see that you are trying to promote the player going up and down the Steps of slowness and to use the bed, but come on, give that battery at least a 30 minute life. A little less if the light is tuned on at all.
Some of the walls and object suffer from lighting issues. They will shadow even when the camera light is blasting them.
I like the really big loud events you have going on inside this house. But I would like to pint out, most haunting are very weird but minor events. I say keep the big and loud stuff that happens, to promote danger and fear of being attacked, but also have a load of minor events too. stuff that takes a keen eye and a little luck to see.
For gods sake, lower the volume of the foot steps. It would sound more menacing and dangerous if it softly creeps up on you, does it's thing and if never heard to run away.
Now I know it sounds like I have nothing but complaints at this point, but hey, it's beta after all. that and really I loved every minute of it. I really did enjoy the beta and I can't wait to play this with some sort of a story line and the like.
