Is anyone actually still playing this ?

It was really a fun experience to work on this mod. We had tons and tons of fun testing out various things, and discovering all the things that weren't initially planned, but are side-effects of the implemented physics. I'll list just some of them(if you still haven't figured em out):

car(nissan) + lots of magnetmines(repel) in the back = nice boost

magnetmine(repel) + magnetmine(attract) placed directly beneath you (you must be quick) = you hover in the air

These are just some of the fun things you can do.

BTB airlines is now a far past for us, in one moment we were planning to make a stand-alone sequel to it, but life took us in separate directions(and our coder was hired by a gamedev studio, so modwork can get you places :P )

Well, i cannot believe this is still played after all these years. We would thank all who played this, it makes us glad that we've provided some entertainment to you.

The real shame is that Serious Sam netcode was really restricting and didn't gave our coder(asko) lot of room to do some workarounds. Bad netcode means death to any half-serious mp based mod.

It's also a shame that SS modding community took a quick downfall, all of the projects that had potential were dying really quickly, and only few have made it to actual release.

well, not only the demo, but also the game is out, but there are still atleast 2 problems : no mulitiplayer and no tools out of the box. That means that we have to wait for mp patch and tools to be released too

just kidding. our whole team had some really hilarious and memorable moments while testing this mod. Too bad that SS was outdated when the mod was released, and the ss crappy network code took care of the rest of ppl who actually wanted to play the mod :)

Well, in the name of CADcreations team, I would like to thank all of you for the positive feedback. Now to try to answer some questions...

The SKA player model code is implemented in BTBA(thx to child for the main part of the code), so when shooting between the legs you won't hit the player like in normal SS.

None of us worked on the original SS game. Infact, if you download Moosey mod (for SS:FE) from our page you will see that 2.5 years ago we were n00bs. But, we were improving ourselves(belive me, first btba alpha was nothing near this public beta) and, in the future, we will try to improve ourselves even more.

Maybe we will implement 'ppl on foot controling the vehicles and eating hot-dogs'(tm) interface in the future, but it will be when we finish all the nice models and maps and mix it all in a nice juicy code... :)

Well, our pickyness has caused a lot of improvements lately. Everyday it's something like 'Why to have good-enough fake car physics when we can have the real thing? That old player model looks low-quality. Remodel it.' On one side i'm happy that Croteam haven't released the patch yet, because we improve our stuff with every day...

YAY! i have been looking forward to this day for a loong time... :D

The other files on the section are the mods we have made before btba. they are made for SS:TFE and they are pretty much low quality, we have made them just for fun and to get the hang of the Serious engine...

...but maybe it would be better if one of the promo images is ingame shot...

anyway, it's great :D

btw., i hope you'll fi the ranking system of games in the topsite listings(because some games have much more mod listed in topsites which recieve more hits than the others and they are still on the bottom of the ranking list...)
