I like logistical nightmares hahahaha... just kidding. I loved stafleet command and playwf all 3 games... tbf ive played them all when it comes to star trek games. Right back as far as gameslike starfleet academy which i recently fkund on steam for £5 :-) I cant wait for rhe new update though... im literally going to explode when it arrives :-)

I was hoping that in the latest mod there would be a sort of 'Era of ships' each faction starts with ships and technology from Enterprise or TOS, then move into TNG and then flow nicely into DS9/Voyager then we could choose when to decomission the constitution class but maybe have ships like the Oberth / Olympic / Strider / Yorktown oh I could go on!!! Maybe im just too hopeful...

Thanks _Draconis_ the game worked amazing here. Dads PC is much more powerful than mine with a Quad core processor and 16GB of RAM so I didnt have any issues and played for over an hour with all the graphics turned up high. Didnt even get any blocky textures or freezing so was well happy! Although the Romulan AI actually beat me on hard!

I think the issue is probably with my 32 bit operating system at home where I have 8GB ram but can only use 4GB of it... only odd thing though is that the V1.0 worked amazingly well and even coped with med to high graphics and bloom setting on.

I have a few hours to play now and satisfy my appetite anyway!!

Thanks for all the help guys... heres hoping with a bit of support from us we can get a fix for the crappy computers we have!

I am at my dads for a few days. I am going to try it here. He has 16GB of RAM an NVidia GForce GTX 560 Graphics card and a 64 bit version of windows 7 so really shouldnt have any performance issues, will let you know if the game crashes or if I get any blocky effects.

So it crashed when trying to change the graphics. Reloaded the game and then played for around 10 mins and guess what???

Yes it crashed. No Error message just crashed.

Thinking I am just gonna go back to V1.0 for now. Sorry guys but this version just isnt working.

Ok So....
I have completely re-installed Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion.
I have made sure all Sins Game Files have been deleted.
I have gone into the Game, clicked. Show Mod Path.
I have Re-downloaded the .exe of the Mod.
I have made sure all files are not read only in the games folder.
I have run the LAA
I am going to launch the game... set graphics to the lowest settings and apply.
I am then going to put the graphics back to a level my PC can run.

This should now fix my game.... Wish me luck guys....
