I've been using hookmod ever since you released it! Thank you! I still use it in Counter-Strike 1.6 'til this day. I cheat; I made it invisible and silent and use it in scrims... I just look somewhere and POOF I'm there :D I set the forcespeed to 600 and it looks like I'm noclipping in the air. Thanks again!
nevermind we got in there and neither my friend nor myself have playermodels... we're completely invisible... not only that you open a door to go to another section and the server crashes... the server i'm using is more than capable.. i just wish valve would have an official coop mode... if anyone knows of any coop game besides garrysmod please PM me or something. i'd really love to know... i don't want any custom made coop stuff i just want regular HL2 (regular levels valve made) but coop so i can play with friends on lan and stuff.. anywho.... hopefully they get the bugs fixed with this mod because it does have potential
I just made a dedicated server and connected and it DID work. I havn't played it because I'm waiting for my friend to copy it so we can LAN and w0oT w0oT.... but anywho PEOPLE WHO THINK IT DOESN'T WORK... Make it into a dedicated server by copying the HL2CP folder into /steamapps/YOURUSERNAME/source dedicated server/ and to make it show up in the list put
-game hl2cp -maxplayers NUMBERHERE -console +map d1_trainstation_02
this will take you to the section after you meet barney... d1_trainstation_01 probably works but i was too lazy too see if it would work right or not... probably would though... anywho... incase you peoples didn't know... that's how to get it running :)
good luck!
I installed the 8g and the update to 9... I tried every possible way... Didn't work... Crashed loading up the first level... GG
whoops didn't check to see if HTML was on or not... havn't been on moddb for quite some time :) sorry

the problem is it's installed in programfiles/steam but it needs to be program files\valve\steam
---------------
If you download steam now, instead of C:\Program Files\Vale\Steam, they have changed the default directory to C:\Program Files\Steam
I'm not sure why Valve keeps changing is from one to another but I think c:\program files\steam is here to stay. Just change the directory on installation :)
