Firefly was pretty good.
All to true - the truly serious fan-boys go right off the charts over this stuff ! Personally, I still love that show and the movie ( idiots at FOX could've kept that going easily ). Weren't enough of us I guess.
Indeed. It seems that TV is driven by ratings rather than quality...FOX, SyFy and the CW have cancelled several excellent television series, while keeping crap that keeps attracting viewers.
Oh man, don't even get me started on SyFy and their programming genius - Friday night WWE !? UGH !
On the topic though...AMC premiered an excellent new zombie horror - survival show on Halloween. Frank Darabont's " The Walking Dead " Amctv.com. First season was only 6 episodes, but it really delivered ! Have to wait till next fall for season 2 :(
I don't think WWE qualifies as Science Fiction...hmm, I'll have to take a look at "The Walking Dead".
Yet another blunder by SyFy, the frakers cancelled Stargate Universe!
I have to say Amen to the cancellation of SG:U. I personally thought the show was crap when they had two amazing shows. SG:1 and Atlantis were both amazing. And they cancelled them. Then to talk about SyFy's canceling things, they cancelled my favorite ScFi show, Andromeda when it easily had the capability to go on for several more seasons.
True, however, this means that there will be no more new Stargate for the first time in 13 or so years.
This is true. They really need to bring back atlantis.
