There are some minor issues that the devs have already said will be addressed in a patch in the very near future, but as the other respondent noted, the game generally runs incredibly well, has been lovingly recrafted, and has been met with critical (and popular) acclaim.

Excellent game, brilliant and passionate developers; I wish them the best of luck both in the IOTY competition and with their endeavors with this game.

For those of you who are interested, search NS2HD on youtube, as he provides excellent updates regarding the progress of NS2. He's not an NS2 employee; he is simply a dedicated fan. I'd post a link, but I only made my account today (can't post links yet).
