Actually the Deku and Sheikah control territory in-game, and the Stalfos can be summoned, so to speak. They aren't the only minor races to appear, I have bunches, even the little known Cobble Kingdom people in the earlier bookmarks.

Yes. There are also traits concerning magical ability, and specific traits for almost all of the major unique weapons and such important items in the games.

I also have a special event wherein Hyrule receives a legendary hero and the Gerudo a Demon-King. You can probably guess who those two are (:

Well, I'm done with University for the summer, so I'll be working on it over the summer, so my estimate is by fall.

Yeah, Hyrule Total War is pretty gnarly. I'm much more familiar with the lore than the games themselves, so I'm with you there.
