I enjoy first person shooters such as Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein. Games I like play are Wolfenstein 3D, Doom (and Brutal too!), Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (clan died), Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Hidden and Dangerous 2. My favorite genre of music is grindcore metal, thrash metal, and death metal.
Reviews
There are hardly any mods, if any at all, that are as amazing as Brutal Doom. If it wasn't for this mod, I wouldn't be into Doom modding at all. That being said, I'd like to discuss a few things that make this mod so great.
1: The marines. I find it quite technologically amazing that Sarge pulled off making Marines that actually follow the player. They do however, seem to do a lot of the killing for me, but it also makes it a whole lot easier, because they are there when you need them.
2: The new weapons and their mechanics really satisfy me. Not much more to be said here, other than how there are weapons that you can slice off of enemies.
3: The new effects are quite nice too.
4: Fatalities are very fun to perform
5: The new settings make things that purists complain about a bit more bearable IMO
6: The enemy AI introduced is interesting
7: The amount of players this mod brought back is astonishing
8: Destroying objects and cutting down trees with a chainsaw is fun, but slicing enemies in half is even more fun.
9: The nazis that carry MP40's are a necessary addition I'd say.
10: The new difficulty of the mod has put my skills to the test.
