It is but i am having a hard time managing .... time. Having to move, study for exams and making a mod in the free time (that I don't have) is actually harder than I first anticipated. I might have to delay the mod , or in the worst case scenario, delete it from moddb.(to possibly reupload it later). Next year; im learning 3D modelling so without support from others, it might be better to delay it anyways. Sorry for the late reply.

I could do that, it Will be some work to do the upgrade tree but that's An actual good Idea. I think about giving every faction a mandalorion sub tree or would this be a bad Idea?
(Bounty Hunter for empire, lots of alien mando's for rebels and imperium trained for imperium)

Right now I could Give Them lasguns and laspistols but that's about it. I do not have any meshes for normal space marine weapons or armor atm. I could Maybe add in Some Imperium- trained mandalorion units that have these weapons and different more imperium- like stats.

It's a placeholder that won't be included in the release, this is stated in all the articles and 70% of the comments.

I haven't been thinking about that honestly. What do you think they could be replaced/upgraded with?

Sorry, I have been very busy at the moment and haven't been able to read your comment until now. I have searched for many models that I can use for the mod to replace the placeholders by asking people and posting comments on formums but most people don't respond.

You can always help me by doing the same: I still need models for Skitarii or at least something that looks like skitarii, same with orks.

If I am not able to gather these models till 2019, I will release a limited but legit version on moddb and an expanded placeholder version at some other site that doesn't care.

Right now it's just a submod for SW Conquest, changing the hutts for the IoM and changing pirates, tusken raiders and jawa's for Tau, Orks and chaos. but at the same time I also started making a completely new mod with more races included.

All models "I stole" WON'T be in the release.

This means that I won't release the game until I have enough alternative models.
I'm not a skilled modeller myself and I still have to look for these "alternatives"

the rebels and empire will also have long range anti- tank units

They aren't, it's pretty much slow cav with some bigger guns that can knock down enemies( kinda like in DoW) they are very usefull
